Bio

I am just that little bit different! Hi there, my name is Chris and I work as a full time professional Abstract & Contemporary Artist . I am constantly amazed at the beauty I see in everyday life, so I strive to capture that beauty in a aesthetic & unique way that draws visual attention. The last couple of years have seen me grow dramatically as an Artist & with your help I have been very proud to achieve best seller status, with my work being sought after by many collectors in Australia & Overseas. A big Thankyou to all of you for your support and appreciation of my work.

Artist Statement / Core Focus:
Capturing the right balance is everything! The journey in reaching this balance is so rewarding and exciting to me, as I am constanty learning and evolving as an Artist. I believe that’s very important to being successful not only in the Art field, but in life generally. My work involves experimentation and patience at the design phase and I spend as much time planning and designing as I do physically painting each work. My chosen medium is Acrylic, which offers me versatility and control over my work, while still allowing me to make changes moving forward. My core focus is on capturing moments in a simple effective way that has meaning and creates a connection with people. I believe simplicity is often overlooked, but there is great beauty in it and I want to share it with as many people as possible. When others choose to follow me and purchase my art I gain a great sense of satisfaction and appreciation. It is an absolute privilege to have my work hanging in the office or home of someone who truly values it.

My studio is located in Goulburn in the Southern Tablelands NSW, about 45 mins north of Canberra, ACT.

Biography:
My passion for art began at an early age and as a school student I received numerous awards for my work. Post school I pursued a career in sales and management and after gaining tertiary qualifications in Management I went on to mentor others in customer service and sales related positions. Although my career was successful, something still felt missing-passion. I came to realise I was happiest and therefore most fulfilled when creating art. My goal shifted from paying the bills in a typical 9-5 job to being in a career I truly love. I finally found the courage to resign from my full time position and pursue my lifelong dream as an artist.
